Why Greater London? It is one of the largest financial centres in the world: it is home to the regulators (FCA, Bank of England), banks, law firms and investors with whom we discuss data, licences and tokenisation. But we do not forget Scotland and Poland – we write for Polish businesses and entrepreneurs throughout the UK, and Gdynia remains our base in the European Union.

How it differs from bank tokenisation
Large banks tokenise money and financial instruments for institutional clients under banking supervision – an example is J.P. Morgan’s Kinexys network. The TAST project envisages tokenising access to services and data licences. It is a different model with different legal obligations. More on J.P. Morgan: TBT analysis.

In the European Union, cryptoasset services are subject to the MiCA regulation. Only a legal opinion can confirm the token’s classification.
