The medicines regulator MHRA is urging patients and carers to report suspected side effects of medicines, vaccines, medical devices and e-cigarettes through the Yellow Card scheme. #MedSafetyWeek runs from 2 to 8 November. A suspicion is enough, and the form takes a few minutes.
Pupils from Reception to Year 11, children aged 2 and 3, pregnant women, people aged 65+ and carers can get the flu vaccine free on the NHS. New this year: some pharmacies will vaccinate children in risk groups, and from December also pupils who missed their vaccination at school.
