In 2026, the 250th anniversary of its founding, the US holds the G20 presidency: the foreign ministers’ meeting takes place in Atlanta on 30–31 October, and the leaders’ summit in Miami on 14–15 December. The presidency’s priorities: less regulation, cheap energy and innovation in artificial intelligence.
