A member of the G7 and NATO, a permanent member of the UN Security Council. After the US, in 2027, the United Kingdom will take over the G20 presidency. London hosted the G20 summit in 2009, during the financial crisis. This is important news for Poles in the UK: Poland is also seeking an invitation to the British presidency.
