Rajmund Tochwin, Jack Saffell, Ada Saffell, Ricky Goodman and Tarsago: bankruptcy, a change of name and linked companies. What the registers show

Tarsago Polska is in bankruptcy, and Tarsago Media Group now operates as “Argonauts Media Group sp. z o.o.” and is undergoing restructuring. We have gathered only facts from public registers.

Tarsago Polska sp. z o.o. – a company derived from the Polish licensee of Reader’s Digest – is in bankruptcy. The notice of the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw (18th Bankruptcy Division) was published on 24 April 2025 (KRS 0000070510). Since 18 August 2020 its shareholders have been My Company Media sp. z o.o. (KRS 0000797030), publisher of the monthly “My Company Polska”, and Mersigo sp. z o.o. (KRS 0000481522). According to the KRS, until 28 August 2020 the company’s management board comprised Jack Robert Saffell and Rajmund Tochwin. From 28 August 2020 to 6 February 2025 Ricky Dean Goodman was a board member. Since 6 February 2025 Jack Robert Saffell has again sat on the board.

A trail at UK Companies House

On 27 March 2015 the company TARSAGO LTD (no. 09514585) was registered in London. Its first directors were Jack Saffell (until 27 May 2015) and Rajmund Tochwin (until 24 April 2015). From 26 May 2015 the director was Ada Aurelia Saffell. The company was dissolved on 11 April 2023.

A second company from this group, registered on 18 January 2013 as Tarsago Media Group sp. z o.o. (KRS 0000448208), changed its name on 2 November 2021 to “Argonauts Media Group sp. z o.o.”. Its board comprises J.R. Saffell (president) and Rajmund Tochwin (board member); each holds 50% of the shares. The company owns 100% of Digital Contact sp. z o.o. (KRS 0000511869) and 50% of Mobileb2b sp. z o.o. (KRS 0000483531). The National Register of Debtors contains entries on restructuring proceedings dated 16 March and 17 July 2026.

We describe only data from public registers. Other threads – including the full roles of individual people in the linked companies – we are verifying in full KRS extracts and will describe only once confirmed in the documents.

Disclosure and right of reply

The publisher of The Business Time, Argonauts Media Group Ltd (London), has no connection with Argonauts Media Group sp. z o.o. It is a creditor of the Tarsago companies, has filed notifications with the prosecutor’s office in Poland and a complaint with the President of the Polish data protection authority (UODO), and is in a dispute over the “Argonauts Media Group” mark. We therefore confine ourselves to facts from the registers and do not prejudge anyone’s liability. Before publication we asked the companies and people concerned for comment; by the date of publication we had received no reply. Comments can be sent to [email protected] – we will publish them in full.

Editorial comment

Changing a company’s name does not change its KRS number or its history. For Polish businesses in Poland and the UK it is a practical lesson: before you sign a contract or extend trade credit, check the business partner by its registration number, not by its name or logo.

What to do

  • Check business partners in the KRS by number, including the history of names and board changes.
  • Search the National Register of Debtors – it shows bankruptcies and restructurings.
  • In the UK do the same at Companies House and in the Insolvency Register.
  • If a bankrupt company owes you money, file your claim with the trustee in time.
