Key points
Storm Boelo hit Scotland hardest at the weekend – roads and rail lines were closed and more than 82,000 homes lost power. The weather remains unsettled, however: a yellow wind warning is in force on Tuesday from 3:00 until midnight. If warnings are upgraded, the next storm will be named Chloe. We covered the details in our article on the effects of Storm Boelo in Scotland.
What to do
- Before travelling, check Met Office warnings and our weather warnings in Polish.
- If your power goes off, call the free number 105.
- Employers: agree with staff on rules for remote working on warning days.
