Government adopts new reimbursement law. No subsidy for over-the-counter medicines, faster route to therapy for rare diseases
The Council of Ministers has adopted a draft amendment to the reimbursement law. Over-the-counter medicines are to be removed from reimbursement, a definition of an orphan medicine is introduced, and there is a new route for funding therapy. Applications to import medicines can be made via the Internet Patient Account. The draft now goes to the Sejm.
